Nice to be speak to a State & Local Government class on the beautiful campus of @jessupu University. I appreciate the invitation from Pete Constant. Professor and Jessup Public Policy Department Chair. A pleasure to welcome Pastor Tim Ingrum of River City Grace Community Church to the Capitol, and even have him join us at the Capitol Staff Bible Discussion gathering that I lead each week inside the Capitol. Encouraging to have Pastor Jerry Mapes, Global Missions Pastor at @reddingchristianfellowship visit me at the Capitol. This week is Hanukkah. (It began last night). The only mention of Hanukkah in the New Testament is in John 10:22 and is about Jesus talking with a crowd of people gathered for the holiday. ... And then things got quite intense. I emailed a new update about my ministry in the Capitol, titled "Whew, What a Year!" Are you a subscriber? Would love to keep you updated. You can view it or subscribe at frankerb.org/updates/ Nice to visit the beautiful Ohio State Capitol, along with friends who also serve with Capitol Commission as Pastors in State Capitols across the U.S. Encouraging to gather recently with friends and colleagues who also serve with Capitol Commission as Pastors in State Capitols across the United States. We meet every year at a different Capitol ... last year was here in Sacramento, and this time was in Columbus, Ohio. Visited a Government Job Fair at Jessup Christian University in Rocklin to interact with leaders. A who's-who of area elected officials present. Did you know all elected officials need our prayers? Left to Right: Sacramento County Supervisor Rosario Rodriguez, State Assemblymember Joe Patterson, Placer County Supervisor Bonnie Gore, U.S. Congressman Kevin Kiley, State Senator Roger Niello, Roseville Joint Union High School District Board Member (and Jessup Political Science Program Director and prof) Pete Constant. It was a joy to speak about the Lord and my ministry yesterday to about 250 people at the Women's Beauty & Grace gathering at Destiny Christian Church in Rocklin. I have spoken in many settings throughout my life, but this was a first time the pulpit has resembled a giant Christmas ginger bread cookie.
